Default plz tell me what you think of this build

assassin/necromancer

unsuspecting strike (optional works perfect with low cooldown)
wild strike (optional works perfect due to cooldown)
twisting fangs (must)
virulence (elite, nec skill)
critical strike (very nice for energy gain)
critical defenses (owns melee more)
plague touch (bye bye blind)
res signet.

with this build you put 5 conditions on, 3 of those being degen conditions (disease, poison and bleeding). you also put on deep wound which as we all know, is ownage.. and weaken to own melee.

i just made it b4

Twisting is not a must if you have sneak attack at a decent level or (I can't believe I say this) jagged strike.

Sneak attack is probably preferred if you are facing mostly melee attackers because of the blind condition that will also help you feed virulence.

Of course you can use both and give the enemy a load of conditions: blind, bleeding, deep wound, disease, poison and weakness. The combination of weakness/blindness is unbeatable.
Plus you can transfer any conditions that you have received with the plague signet.

Oh and I always preferred critical eye to critical strike since I feel that it works as good or better, especially with a IAS skill.

But the big question here is your attribute levels. It can make or break the build since 3-5 seconds conditions is probably not worth it most of the time.

Combining this with a mesmer with epidemic makes for some epic plague.

yeah some skills are optional.

twisting isnt a must if you apply bleeding or crippled etc, but i just really like deep wound + bleeding, etc.

sneak attack is for PVE only though.

critical eye is good, but then you're missing out on either critical defenses or plague touch. and ontop of that, the combo you do after virulence and twisting fangs is used with shorter cooldown skills (as those others have longer cooldowns)

Oh I thought we were discussing PvE only.

In my example critical eye replaces critical strike. This works good in most PvE areas.

In PvP there's blocking skills high and low that can prevent this and it's not always possible to switch target to keep up critical defenses.

Just a thought: conditions won't overcome -10 degen cap, so no need to cause -million degen.

Wouldn't use it on human opponents. Disease will just be transfered back to you. Yes, Plague Touch removes it, but how often will you be PTing Disease and wasting your energy.

Unsuspecting is quite energy intensive and really not needed.

My suggestion: get a shortcut offhand, at least try to save a spot for Sig of Deadly Corruption.

Also, lacks snare/KD = quite phail.
